OK! So bear with me as I get a little emotional for a sec. Today marks the one year anniversary of Modern Family wrapping. Even after all this time I find it hard to look through old photos or episodes. I think it just still hurts a little too much. People ask me a lot about the final days or how I feel about it ending, and I honestly can't put it into words. Even after a year I don't think it's really set in that it's over. How do you accept, pay tribute to, and yeah, even grieve, the loss of something that you were a part of for 11 years? I'm not sure. I miss getting to see my friends and family every day, especially the best fucking crew in the world that I love dearly. We were incredibly lucky to make comedy with such a special and talented group of people and call it work.

Anyways, props if you made it this far and apologies if this wasn't as celebratory as it could have been! Today was a tough one!

And thank you all for supporting the show and making it possible. Now please do everything you can to end COVID so I can hug these people haha.
