Directing this episode, and shooting exteriors on one of the most iconic lots in Hollywood, with some incredibly dedicated and talented people, was one of the highlights of my career. You've seen the final product, and the on-screen performances, but what you often don't get to see is the people who work behind the scenes to make your favorite TV shows a reality. Cinematographers, props, script supervisors, hair/makeup, costumes, electricians, editors, the list goes on for miles. These professionals belong to IATSE, the union that represents the majority of on-set workers. Right now, they're voting on whether to strike, in their fight for better working conditions and pay. I stand in support of IATSE, and my friends in the union who have given countless hours to create the content that we consume every day.
