It’s one of the reasons why we wanted to create it in the first place—so future generations can hopefully experience a new, AMAZING normal. Unfortunately, there still isn’t enough representation in children’s picture books - especially in the nonfiction category like this one. AAPI history is also not required in K-12 curriculum nationwide and there are real world implications when it comes to a lack of representation and visibility in education and storytelling.
