Our Asia Pacific Regional Headquarters recently hosted its Innovation & Marketing Conference in the tropical island of Bali, Indonesia in May 2023. The week-long conference brought together over 300 employees across our APAC and global corporate function and brand teams to share strategic priorities for our business, our brands, and our people. Mr. Kentaro Fujiwara, President & Chief Operating Officer, Shiseido Group also addressed our employees at the event in Bali in his opening speech.

In line with Shiseido’s focus of achieving a sustainable society through the communities we operate in, our employees also participated in a fun-filled and meaningful afternoon of community engagement activities—doing arts and crafts, building bicycles and book racks—in support of underprivileged children in Bali. Shiseido also partnered with the Turtle Conservation & Education Centre (TCEC), World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and The Provincial Nature Resource Conservation Agency in Bali for a turtle release activity in support of biodiversity and environmental initiatives.

資生堂アジアパシフィックは、2023年5月にインドネシアのバリ島でイノベーション＆マーケティングカンファレンスを開催。一週間のカンファレンスにはアジア太平洋、グローバルのスタッフ部門、ブランドチーム300名以上が集い、事業、ブランド、そして社員の戦略的優先順位を共有しました。社長 COOの藤原憲太郎も参加し、オープニングスピーチを行いました。

また当日は、活動・事業を行う地域でサステナブルな社会を達成するという資生堂の方針に従い、社員がバリの子どもたちを支援するコミュニティーエンゲージメント活動に参加。手工芸や自転車、本棚を作る活動を行い、楽しみながら有意義な時間を過ごしました。あわせて、カメ保護・飼育センター (TCEC)、世界自然保護基金 (WWF)、The Provincial Nature Resource Conservation Agency in Baliと組んで、生物多様性や環境活動を支援するため、亀のリリース活動も行いました。
