The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and the remains of what was originally the Hiroshima Prefectural Industrial Promotion Hall, now commonly called the A-Bomb Dome.

The ruin, museum, and monuments memorialize the victims of the first nuclear attack on August 6, 1945, when the United States dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima. The park is a reminder of the horrors of nuclear warfare, a call for denuclearization, and a hope for lasting world peace.
