Driving around LA today with @richiestarzec, playing Yard Act in the car, lead to a succession of UK bands that have a half talking-half singing vocalist. We played The Fall, Ian Dury & The Blockheads and finally, this 1978 novelty one hit wonder by The Street Band. I had this on vinyl at age 4. Behold the magnificently silly single - Toast.
