The streets of San Antonio are covered in dogs. I didn’t even have a bed, at that point. I had moved to San Antonio three days prior. I thought, ‘Oh, I’ll drop it off somewhere in the morning’, but deep down, I’m like, I’m keeping this dog. She’s a good companion – something to care for and have around.
