Standing where the empress' throne once stood when she would watch the rituals and ceremonies down below in the nave. Just want to share that I always get this "feeling" that I can't seem to explain when I stand in the exact same place someone from history once stood. Basta. It's in a weird nostalgic kinda way. Ewan. Basta! D ko maexplain! Some of the moments I remember are when I visited the Anne Frank house and also when I stood in front of the Bocca della Vèrita (the Mouth of Truth) where Audrey Hepburn once stood.
