"In December 1969, @Rolling Stone editor Ralph Gleason and I visited #JohnFogerty at his home in Berkeley, California, where Ralph sat with the #CreedenceClearwaterRevival (#CCR) lead singer for an interview. The seven-page — large pages, as RS was still printing on newsprint! — story appeared in issue 52, dated February 21st, 1970. As Gleason wrote in the article: 'Watching [Fogerty] at concerts and at Fantasy [Records] had not really prepared me for the directness with which he spoke. His relationship with Fantasy is such that undoubtedly he will have an important role in that company in the future…' Little did Gleason anticipate the prescience of his words. The story of Fogerty vs. Fantasy is a long and fascinating one, a multi-faceted family feud of which many think there were no winners." As told to RS by photographer @baronwolman #tbt
