SENIOR SUNDAY! Our friends at @susiesseniordogs would kindly like to ask you to consider adoption as an option.

A pearl is a precious gem and this Pearl is no exception! 10 year old Pearl has so much to offer an adopter--she's loyal, she's playful, and she's super smart. But unfortunately it's been hard for Pearl to get noticed at the shelter.
A shelter volunteer wrote, "Pearl is a 10 year old pit bull mix who came in as a stray over two months ago. She's super sweet and loves to be near you. She looks pretty sad and aloof in her cage, but once you pull out the ball or treats, she her face lights up and she's entirely focused on you.
She loves to play fetch, and never wants to stop. She also loves to do tricks; she knows 'sit,' 'shake,' and she's learning 'down' and 'stand.' She walks perfectly on leash, and hops right up on the bench when you invite her.
Pearl spent a little time in a foster home, but started resource guarding against the other dog. This is why she has to be an only dog. When she first got to the shelter she didn't bark at all, but after a few weeks she began barking out of frustration or for attention. Now she just sits and waits politely for a treat. She's been able to spend some time out of her cage, in one of the offices, where she becomes much more relaxed. Adoptions must be in person. Come to the shelter and meet this wonderful dog!"
