I made it to Washington, D.C.! Any day now, the United States Supreme Court will rule on marriage equality. I'm honored to be here to witness this historic moment in our nation's history!

This morning I stood outside the Supreme Court, proudly wearing my Bridegroom shirt, which reads: "It's not a gay thing. It's not a straight thing. It's a human thing." I was next to two people who, because of their religious beliefs, don't believe LGBT citizens should have the freedom to marry. I am shocked by the amount of time, energy, and money people spend trying to deny LGBT people equal rights. Imagine if that same time, energy, and money were spent combatting world hunger or curing cancer; the world would be a healthier, happier place, I am sure.
