Finally laid eyes on Spitzkoppe, Namibia's giant granite dome. I probably spent 3 full days of my life just researching Spitzkoppe as a potential Lead Now destination, but then settled on South Africa instead, based on a personal inference that there might be too many snakes. Considering the 90 degree mid winter conditions yesterday, I think I made a good choice. The feature is quite an anomaly in the otherwise flat region, and I'm eager to go back someday and actually stand on the top! As for now, @arjandekock and I are 13 hours into the 15 hour drive back to ZA. Time for a singalong party to stay awake! #neverstopexploring #theexperienceiseverything
