In April, @bydvnlln dedicated his @Instagram feed to #FreddieGray, the young black man whose death while in police custody set off weeks of protest and unrest in #Baltimore. During the protests, many of his photos went viral, and one even landed on the cover of @TIME Magazine. Now, @bydvnlln — who was born and raised in West Baltimore — has launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for a youth photography program he plans to direct. “I want to teach kids how to use photography to tell their own story,” he told our photo blog, Lens. “I want to teach kids that they can do whatever they want to do because I was in their shoes at one point in time.”
