I've never had to write something like this before, so please bear with me, as I try to adequately describe how my heart is feeling.... Our sweet angel Brooke Hester (@brookesblossoms ) has indeed become an angel today & passed away with her family by her side.. I am reliving the precious moments that I had the honor to have with Brooke & I believe that that is a major testament to who she was. Someone who always found the light in the darkest times & spread joy in the saddest. Brooke was like no other, she wasn't defined by her battle instead she was defined by her heart of
Gold. Brooke spread love, inspiration and faith every moment of her life and used her battle to raise awareness for other kids. She touched the hearts of every person she met, her smile lit up the world & her voice is something that I will always remember.
There's a song that has been playing in my head all day, it's called "I can Only Imagine" and one of the verses is:
Will I dance for you Jesus
Or in awe of you be still
In my heart I believe that Brooke is dancing. I believe that she is continuing to spread her light in heaven. I believe that we are all better people to have gotten to know Brooke. I know for a fact, I will forever be honored and thankful to have had "my little pony" as we called each other, as my friend.
So on behalf of myself, sweet Brooke. I will love you to eternity, cherish our times together forever & I know that one day we will be reunited & I can't wait to join you
in your dance.
Thank you God for bringing Brooke to this world & thank you Brooke, for sprinkling your sweet heart on all of us.
