Corrin Davis (@corrin.davis), a middle blocker for Amarillo Extreme 13 Stealth from the Sun Country Region, is playing in her second #GJNC. While her mother Lori was a standout basketball player in college, Corrin has quickly gravitated to volleyball as her first love though she still finds time to play a little basketball. "I just think volleyball is a lot more fun and exciting. There is a lot of energy and enthusiasm in volleyball. I like to smack it - hard. Pound it in people's faces," she says with a laugh. Because of her 5-9 height and ball control as a 13-year-old, Corrin plays all six rotations as a passing middle blocker for Amarillo Extreme Stealth with limited duty as an outside hitter. However, she sees herself as an outside hitter. "I like to play outside better. Middle is fun and there are a lot more sets you can run, but I feel like outside I have more space to attack. I like to pass. I really like to pass." After the first day of 13 Nationals, Corrin and her Amarillo Extreme 13 Stealth Team are 2-1 and looking to improve on the team's 31st place finish last year in 12 National. #humansofvb
