I know that I'm indulging in feelings that I shouldn't have but sometimes these feelings keep us grounded. Karma is the first thing that I see in the morning and the last thing that I see at night. Her ashes rest right in front of me. She will always be an open wound. My body physically didn't die that week on October because of Cielo, Tierra, Dharma and Ma-Tzu. If not, trust me, I would have literally jumped from a cliff never to be seen again. But can I tell you a secret that I haven't shared with anyone? When she was lying unconscious in the emergency room and blood was dripping from her arm, Papa Bear drank a little bit of it. That way my then adoptive baby would literally be my blood sister and live within me. It may sound disgusting to some of you, but to her father that was the only alternative at that time.
