Eddie Bauer dual-sport athlete & global traveler @KCDeane just landed back from a sick trip to China's Gobi Desert, where the varied landscape and otherworldly vibe transported him into what seemed like something straight out of Blade Runner. He touched down in Beijing, transferred to a domestic flight north, was greeted by a guide who called himself “Jack”, moved onward to the city of Urmuqi and then flowed through the most surreal landscape and architecture he’d ever seen. Jet-lagged and passed out in the shuttle van the next morning, he landed in an alternate reality with the @fastfokus crew. Still in a daze, he dropped in on Total Recall and things got serious.
