A fan took a quote from an interview I did and made this. Here is the thing. If I didn't challenge myself to work harder and I never challenged the agendas of others I would have never had an identity of my own. I may have had some modicum of success but not at the level I achieved to where I could have complete freedom to express my ideas and opinions.
If you create a small work space starting today that is the beginning of growth. That is a statement to ones self that you are positioning yourself for success. That first notebook with jotted down ideas and goals, that first desk with your notions strewn about -- critical moves when setting your internal compass.
We all laugh at Shia but the truth is it's funny because it's true. He just choose to deliver it like a fucking maniac. But you have to snap and lock into something that only you understand and want. See that's the tricky part. Anything really worth challenging yourself on comes at a price and that is a solitary move since most people won't "get it."
Apple started in a garage with a desk and two dudes talking about their ideas. So start something today. Get it in motion. Find likeminded people that may not fully see it but feel you and support you.
I made bold choices. I was just a kid from Boston with a soft voice offstage. I turned it into a brand and a business and I love my life because I took chances and made my own platform.
