I don't think there are words to describe the emotions that I felt competing at the Pam American Games. Having 4 Olympians on my team helped me realized that weightlifting ebbs and flows. I couldn't have asked for a better snatch session going 3/3 with a 3K pr in competition at 79K. It was a Pan Am Games record for about 30 seconds :) Clean and Jerks were a bit tough but I was lucky to squeak out a 93K make and unfortunately missing 96K twice. A year ago I would have been happy with a 172 total but this leaves me hungry for more knowing that I am competitive with some of the best in the world. I can't even begin to express the gratitude I have for Zygmunt, my teammates, my boyfriend and everyone who supported me getting here. This was an incredible experience! Now it's time to put my head down and to get back to work! ❤️
