#tbt This was the first time Jill ever laid down, relaxed outside of her cage.
Before the cat tree. Before the big cage. Before I knew what I was doing. Before she knew what she was doing. She was still bottle feeding. My hands were always full of scratches. I was embarrassed, always wearing long sleeves.

But, I remember this very moment. I was in shock. So excited. I had no clue where this road would take me. She is a squirrel after all. A wild animal. Can this happen? Do squirrels do what she is doing?

I never gave up on her. She never have up on me. And I can honestly say after almost 3 years I wouldn't have it any other way.

This girl is my girl. This girl is my squirrel.
