The Smith River in Montana as seen from a cave high above. There is no shortage of world-class waters in #Montana. But a river you may not have heard of, the Smith, may be the one that Montanans love most. Every year, the state holds a lottery to decide which boaters will be lucky enough to float the coveted stretch of river that is Smith River State Park. The Smith River is not the easiest river to float, which is one of its attractions.
