Last week @NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft successfully flew past Pluto and took gorgeous, never before seen images.

Leitz/Leica, too, was involved in the exploration of the space before! In the 1960s the astronauts of the Apollo Mission were equipped with special modified Trinovid binoculars to observe the docking of the moon ferries.
