Curator Anna Reynolds adjusts an evening gown worn by The Queen for a State Banquet held in honour of President of China, Jiang Zemin, in 1999.

Each summer the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace open to the public between July and September. This gown, designed by Hardy Amies, is among items on display as part of this year's #RoyalWelcome exhibition.
