Shot #onassignment for @ナショナルジオグラフィック and published in the March 2015 issue of National Geographic Magazine as part of the story "Two Cities." The face of Dieter Weckeiser, killed in 1968 at age 25 while attempting to swim across the River Spree to West Berlin, forms part of a memorial on Bernauer Strasse, where a graffiti-covered stretch of the Wall has been preserved as a reminder of the divided city. Weckeiser was with his wife: 17 shots, both died.
