My husband @sam.petty1 just got 2nd overall out of all the waves of athletes except for the elite section in the #Londontriathlon this morning ??!! Such an amazing race, there were over 200 people in his wave and about 5000 (estimate) athletes that did the Olympic standard distance all up..so I think 2nd out of everyone except the elite section, was pretty amazing (and I personally think he should have been in the elite section☺ oh well..next time!) Especially awesome result considering he wasn't able to run much leading up to it due to injury but had been doing quite a bit of cycling and swimming!
