Over a year ago a couple of friends and I had the idea to throw an awesome festival. Today, our inaugural first edition is a reality. This concrete mixer parked on a main downtown street which we’ve shut down will have a mural painted on it within a few days. 6 other murals are happening in the city’s core, we’re bringing in over 35 artists to perform in venues all around the city’s core, and we’re throwing an all night art crawl on Saturday night.
Community is the only reason this thing is happening. Not the show, the actual concept of people working together towards a common goal. We’ve asked for help from countless people and now have a huge team working through the clock to create an awesome festival.
