RESCUED KITTENS UPDATE DAY 15:

I took the three little kittens to the vet today for their follow-up appointment. Hermes is doing great and received her first vaccination - but Uno needs to be quarantined for two weeks because apparently he now has the flu... and then when we came home from the vet, James started vomiting and I found blood in his stools.
So we just came back from rushing him to the Pet Hospital, and Dr. Nic said his blood work is ok... but to be prepared that it might be a congenital defect. This means that we should probably be prepared for the worst if he doesn't regain his appetite or show signs of recovery.

I'm begging you to please, please pray for James to get better. He's so affectionate; he already knows that he likes to sleep cuddled up to his Meowmy, purrs heartily when I pick him up, and on the cab ride home, he cuddled up against where my hand was touching the carrier as though to get closer to me.

I haven't cried because I'm still in shock over the sudden turn in events, and maybe I still believe little Jamie has just hit a bump in the road and will fight like he fought to get better the first week he was rescued. Whatever it is, I'm just praying for the best.
