#fbf to meeting one of the nicest groups of #ChicagoPD fans ever earlier this week! I had a blast meeting all of you, and hearing what you love about the show.

#sidebar - we appreciate you all so so much. When we have moments where the timing of a scene works out, and we can say hello, we try really hard to do that. When we can't, and the only chance to interact we have is hollering "hi!!!!" and waving like lunatics as we are being jammed into a van and shuttled to the next set, we try to holler really really loud and wave really really enthusiastically. The time constraints of filming are crazy y'all. And we have 200 people on our crew who all have to get their jobs done on the clock, to the minute. And we have to stay focused and rehearse and run lines between takes all day and talk with our police consultants and bust our butts to make a show you will love. That's the reason our show keeps going. So if we ever can't come take photos, or stop to chat on our way to set, just know it's for a reason and it's not personal. Because man oh man do we appreciate you guys!
