When building things by hand Mindset is everything. If your happy, fed, well rested its like your hands are on auto-pilot. You can make anything and it turns out perfect. You can do no wrong. In the wrong mindset? You can turn things into shit pretty quick. The best/smart thing to do when it's going in the wrong direction, is start over or just walk away. But Our ego kicks in and tells us don't quit! You can make chicken soup out of chicken shit! Just keep going. That works right up until you hit what you are making the wrong way and it is destroyed. And life just made the decision to start over for you. Sometimes pausing and going home for the night or just grabbing a bite to eat will offer the answer or a fresh perspective. Or just give you the rest you need. Example: The day I cut my finger off I was super tired. I told myself 20 times to call it a day. But I pushed on and instead of stopping and getting some rest, I got myself to the ER and some hand surgery. We all know when it is working and when it is not. The smart ones will see it and listen. #jessejames
