He is the ONLY veterinarian in the top ten who does NOT declaw cats. In his 16 yrs of practicing veterinary medicine he has felt that declawing is wrong and that there are always humane alternatives that work. He is a true advocate for animals and honors the oath he took to just heal and protect animals by not declawing kitties. He took a stand and did the right thing.
Let's put him in 1st place. He will be an amazing role model so all veterinarians who declaw cats will see a very successful, well respected, and honored doctor who is doing the right thing by not amputating cat's toe bones and claws for the sake of a piece of furniture or other flawed excuses. Then maybe they will join him and also honor the oath they took.
Then hopefully kitties will be safe in the hands of ALL veterinarians someday.
