This is for the photo nerds... My buddy @simonlopez let me borrow his @carlzeisslenses 50mm f/2 Makro Planar ZE lens the other night at #RoadkillTakesAmerica and I absolutely loved it. A prime makes you rethink composition, but adding manual focus into the mix makes you think through every picture more thoroughly. I had such a good time using this lens that I want to get one for myself once finances permit... I'm actually considering saving up my pennies and switching over so a @Sony A7II mirrorless instead of my Canon 6D to utilize Zeiss' new Batis autofocus lenses. The mirrorless cameras are crazy capable now and it isn't too shabby of an idea. Does anybody have any opinions? I love my Canon, but I would love to use @carlzeisslenses glass and the new A7II's stabilization system compensates for 4.5 stops which would rule.
