Thanks Bath. I haven't had curly hair in about 10 years, I appreciate your weather. Getting to Bristol then Weston Super Mare and getting into see Dismaland without a wait and then the trek to my hotel- minus the rain, it all went off without a hitch. I think I'd racked up enough bad travel over the span of my career that the travel Gods smiled on me this trip- I'm thankful for it because I'm traveling alone and having no one to turn to when something gets fucked up LIKE MY FUCKING PHONE TURNING ITSELF OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GODDAMN NIGHT SO MY ALARM DOESN'T GO OFD SO I ALMOST MISS MY TRAIN -ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME WITH THAT? THIS HAS TO BEOUR FAULT, SPRINT- SOME WAY, SOMEHOW can be freighting when you're a small goblin, temporarily alone in the world. I encourage everyone to travel alone once in a while- you meet more people, you do different things and you don't have to worry about looking pretty (ok I wear a little bit of blush, I'm not a monster)- it's good to get away and turn off the stream of garbage from wherever you're from and reconnect with the world outside of your tiny nest. The last time I was in Europe, American money wasn't such shit and texting home was way too expensive- it's amazing how quickly things change. I also burned the fuck out of my hand whilst trying to make this cup of tea. But I finished making it, because I persevere! Why? Because I'm an American! Also I don't drink coffee at night. Cheers.
