National pride in the DPRK is unparalleled to some other places I've been in the world. While the sheer amount of imagery that exists is certainly abundant, the most apparent is the overwhelming dedication to Kim Il-Sung, Jong-Il, and Jong-Un. Renderings, composites, paintings, sculpture, and photographs adorn various buildings, streets, and structures. Shops are filled with endless literature that is authored almost explicitly by one of the three leaders mentioned above. Patriotism seems to be an understatement when you consider the scale at which this information exists, and especially more when you consider the bottleneck that filters and authors these decisions.
