Your body is a machine. And machines do not run properly if not fueled properly. Instead of worrying about what it looks like, think about what it can DO. What it is capable of. My body is simply a result of the work I put in to making it achieve what I want it to. I do not "diet" to look a certain way, I fuel my body so it can perform at the best of its abilities. The appearance is just the result of that. I happen to be 5'7" and could not restrain my body to the 63kg weight class anymore. My "natural" weight has been 67-68 for the last year and I've cut down every single competition to make 63. Extreme calorie restriction for that long (7 competitions last year) takes a toll. There were times when I was only eating 700-900 calories on double days of training... Not okay. I've been working with @rpstrength since the month leading up to nationals and could not be happier. We originally started with a plan to cut down to 63 (with much more food than I was used to... ??), but in the end decided it's time to fill out the 69 weight class. Not only has @rpstrength helped me to get my body back to healthy functioning, I've learned about meal/nutrient timing just through the templates I've been given. And I'm eating close to 4 times more food than I was during my 63 days and still resting at my "natural" body weight that I was in between 63 competitions, aka more room to pack on glorioussssss muscle. I consume 285 carbs on double days... #allthecarbs and my body is still adjusting to the increase of food, so it'll only get better from here. GIRLS (and guys) do not restrain your body to a certain weight. Eat for fuel, looks come secondary. It's absolutely amazing what your body can do when fueled properly. Do not starve your body. Eat eat eat CORRECTLY and watch what happens to how your body performs. Plus as an added bonus, you won't be hangry anymore and everyone around you will appreciate it.
