"This shoot was a bit unusual because I was nine months pregnant and couldn’t see my feet over my belly. But a few weeks prior, #RyanReynolds and Blake Lively celebrated the arrival of their baby girl so we immediately connected on that which made our time together not only fun, but insightful as he gave me advice for the coming weeks (which was much appreciated.) I was asked to shoot in a hotel bar. I had done two sets up and was about to wrap up when I stood up and turned around. I immediately noticed that the light had shifted and was hitting the corner of the bar in a beautiful way. I grabbed a chair, threw it into the light for one last set up. I shot a few frames and the light moved. I knew right away my favorite shots from the shoot would be the last few. It was a good reminder for me to not be too set in my ways — to be flexible since you never know what opportunities will present themselves. Also, remember to look behind you!"
