Fall/Winter 2015 began by looking at the New York School of painting, specifically the work of Helen Frankenthaler, one of the few female Abstract Expressionists. She pioneered the “stain painting" technique, pouring thinned paint directly onto raw, unprimed canvas. It was her instinctual and spontaneous approach to creation, without preconceived ideas of what the final result would be, that inspired the development of the collection.
