Photograph by @stephenwilkes: In the days and weeks following September 11, 2001, enveloped by the tragedy, I found myself as we all did, trying to comprehend what had happened .
As I photographed the remains of the towers from a rooftop view, dust billowing from the ground caught a beam of light. For a moment it seemed to create a shadow within the cloud of dust, hauntingly resembling the shape of the North Tower.
