So my race day was going really well compared to the terrible luck I had yesterday here at #GlobalRallycross Los Angeles - my racecar was on point, took 2nd in my heat, and was 2nd in my semi-final. I then fought my way to 2nd place in the Final - but that came to an end because of some wheel-to-wheel contact that caused my propshaft to break, so I had to limp the car for the rest of the race. That sucked!! Crazy how in motorsports you can go from having such a great season and a big points lead - to having two back-to-back races go so wrong. I did gain 14 points today (2nd in my heat + 2nd in my semifinal), and I’m still leading the championship, but I’m going to have to fight extra hard to defend that now during our next GRC rounds in Barbados in a few weeks.
