I couldn't agree more. While the Internet and social networks are ablaze with speculation, I can't help but see this as one of the most positive things that had happened since starting with NG 5 yrs ago. I trust the men and women at the helm of our ship and I know that the deal we agreed upon not only protects the mission and journalistic integrity of @ナショナルジオグラフィック, but allows it to thrive.
It's very important to remember that 21st Century Fox is NOT Fox News. The entity with which we merged has multitudes of media outlets with as many personalities and messages. We will not become something we aren't. 127 yrs of history dictates and guides our dedication to science exploration and education. Our recipe is proven, it's the media cake that has changed. For us to survive, we must embrace our future by fostering partnerships that allow us to spread our message across a broader scope of platforms...and this new partnership allows us to do exactly that. Our truth and integrity will always be at the heart of us as a society. Here's to many more years of story telling that promotes positive change around the globe.
