Keyhole canyon // the road out of zion

the luminous
electricity
of the invisible
light
glowing in the air
the wind caught in a moment 
of turbulence 
darkening clouds laying bare
their intention
on the afternoon sky
the vast majority
taking shelter
simply to not see
The unseen danger
of what's to come
and yet
and still
they repel 
deep into a morning prayer
already engaging the afternoon
full bloom
full steam
their full heart
mistaking the depths 
for beauty
and taking deep breaths
of golden light
at the bottom of the canyon
the sky
only showing
a sliver of truth
of whats to come
and be undone
by the storm.
