Snapping a wefie with members of the Teck Ghee Chinese Orchestra. They gave a professional performance, accompanying Ang Mo Kio GRC & Sengkang West SMC’s SG50 musical, ‘Our Lives, Our Story’, last night.
The show traced Singapore’s journey from independence, portrayed life in Singapore today, and explored our way forward to SG100. There were catchy tunes, hearty laughs and heartfelt moments. We were even treated to nyonya kueh and a rendition of “我问天” ("I ask sky") in English! :) My thanks to the cast, crew and organisers for a splendid effort and an entertaining evening! – LHL (MCI Photo by Kenji Soon)
