Floors decay and paint disintegrates at a school gymnasium in Pripyat, where teens once tumbled and trained. Following the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in 1986, Pripyat’s 50,000 inhabitants were evacuated along with residents of the other towns in the Zone. The radiation has rendered the area unfit for human habitation for many years to come.
