Winners will also receive a Cobian goodie bag :) "After every operation, after every laser surgery, after every painful doctors appointment, these three things kept me going and kept me from giving up: my FAITH that I would be shown a way out of that situation, HOPE that I would get better and that things would turn around and lastly the LOVE I have for this beautiful country and my desire to enjoy everything it has to offer. I always prayed that I would make it through everything, that my health would improve so much that I could live a normal life and that I would be able to sit on the beach and enjoy the sun- pain-free and able to look at the ocean with my own eyes. No matter how difficult, painful or hopeless my situation was, I was always hanging on to that little spark inside of me that just would not give up. Today I am sitting here on the beach, pain-free and looking at the ocean with my own eyes, feeling grateful and blessed, and I'm proud of myself for not giving up. So no matter what you might be going through at the moment, never ever give up!! Better days will come for you too! I once heard someone say: "I asked God for strength and he gave me challenges to make me stronger!" Yes, every challenge is an opportunity to grow and it will make you stronger. I also love this quote, because it is so true: " I have never met a strong person with an easy past." So be proud of yourself for facing challenges that have come your way and keep going!
