Photograph by @Thomas Peschak A experimental shark repellent is tested on a juvenile lemon shark by scientists at the @biminisharklab By turning the shark upside down it falls into a trance like state called tonic immobility. The effectiveness of the repellent is measured on how quickly the shark awakes from the "tonic" state.
