My first go at dip pen calligraphy. I discovered that I love this new arena, but not so much this pen (understatement on the pen). Scratchy, splotchy, cheap nib with inconsistent ink flow. Boo. But... it got me started. And taught me patience. And served as more incentive to invest in a quality fountain pen, dip pen and good ink. Quality being key here. In the end, a new door opened in my heart to which I discovered that lettering and type is something that brings me an irrational amount of joy and is a whole new world for me to explore. So today's fail = win. Growth is good. Keep on with your keep on.
