These guys. #skimakalu2015 was made special in large part do to their strength, courage, and willingness to put forth their best effort in the face of a massive challenge. Most 8000 meter peak expeditions are a collaborative effort between multiple teams and dozens or even hundreds of Sherpa who work together to establish camps on the mountain and fix the route. @tenzing99, Palden Namgye, Mingma Chhring, and Panuru Sherpa (not pictured) did not have that support system. They worked hard to help us work our way up the mountain, and displayed a level of combined strength and motivation unlike anything I've witnessed before. It was an honor and a pleasure to share the experience with them and to have them as teammates. @alpenglowexpeditions @jaybirdsport
