Achingol Mayom jumped into the water at Blue Mountains National Park outside of Sydney. She left South Sudan in 2003 with her mother and five siblings. Some 19,000 South Sudanese moved to #Australia between 2002 and 2011, almost all of them through a government resettlement program. The photographer @conorashleigh has been documenting the community in Australia, where South Sudanese youths navigate Australian culture while trying to stay true to their roots.
