Introducing The Bailey Cap-Toe. The product of one of our very favorite factories located in Northamptonshire, England, where for more than 100 years some of the finest footwear in the world has been crafted.
This elegant cap-toe is distinguished both by its handsome and distinctive pebble-grain finish, and by the exceptional artistry and attention to detail realized throughout the manufacturing process.
This is illustrated in myriad ways, including the manner in which the lining is perfectly matched—in both color and quality—to the upper, and how the skins used for the soles are ‘aged’ for 6 months in Chestnut bark water—to render them ever more impermeable. The soles are closed-channel stitched and hand-corked. The shoe further features wooden shanks and Goodyear welting.
It is a measure of the fine craftsmanship that describes not only our footwear, but the entirety of the Paul Stuart product offering.
