Such a great time participating in the first ever #Politcon at the LA Convention Center. It was basically Comicon for politics. So instead of The Hulk walking around I saw Ann Coulter, which was scarier. Thanks to @toure_x for moderating the Q&A after we showed “Jeff Ross Roasts Criminals” on the big screen. Toure’s questions afterwards and the audience’s comments were all so insightful. I especially enjoyed being encouraged and challenged by an actual judge to keep talking about prison issues. I also met some Chinese students who basically risk their lives to download the roasts illegally back home. Also really enjoyed the talk by Doris Kearns Goodwin and the Q&A between James Carville and Trevor Noah. Thanks to everybody who organized @Politicon. I learned a lot. I hope ya’ll do it again next year.
