As we begin another #StockMarket week please remember NONE of my millionaire students or I or ANY #SelfMadeMillionaire I know had success right away & never failed/screwed up big sometime during their journey. In fact, my $500,000+ loss back in 2007 absolutely sucked & turned me into a borderline alcoholic, but within a few months it had made me an infinitely better, wiser & more conservative trader & now teacher...and I owe the many millions I've made since to the lessons from that nasty loss. And I probably wouldn't have ANY millionaire students had it not been for that loss (see details in my bestselling book An American Hedge Fund) since it helped me understand risk management far better. Yes, the mistakes you make help you develop into the person you'll eventually become & they are NOT optional, they're a crucial part of your overall #FinancialFreedom training & education. I truly believe someone who has never failed (or is unwilling to show ALL their #StockTrades & long term track record due to them trying to hide their failures as is far too common in my industry) will hurt their future performance (and sadly the performance of their students too) since their education is incomplete.
